The "Clay Chickens" project (19.4.-10.9.1994) examines and compares the industrial rearing of chickens using the example of the Swiss Egg and Poultry Processing Cooperative (SEG) with the rearing of own chickens. The rearing of around 60 male chicks, which lasted 168 days, was meticulously documented. I paid particular attention to the taboo slaughtering process. In the final event on September 10, 1994, a method of preparation was presented that gave the long-cherished product the respect it deserved. All supporters of the project were involved and invited.
