Abstract
The artist engages the visitors by sharing information about the connection between racial discrimination and the effect of the Covid 19 pandemic. He then creates a negative print of his hand raised in solidarity and invites visitors to help him create a ‘Garden' of solidarity agaisnt discrimination – be it gender, color, region, religion or any other.
The performance thus results in a 300 x 100 cm negative print of hands raised in solidarity.
This performance was a sequel to the earlier performance, ‘MASKED IDENTITY IN COLOR / COLORED IDENTITY IN MASK’ which he had created for the Corona Call Visarte in 2020.
