For the WERK/KUNST/WERK project in the production halls of Hessische Schraubenfabrik Welter GmbH & Co. KG in Marburg, Bänninger/Wiskemann set up a flexible and mobile workshop studio for their art action "TRANSACTION": A mobile table made of wooden pallets and boards on a hand-operated forklift truck. For 8 hours a day, people draw, paint and experiment. After a certain time, approx. 15 minutes, the artist couple exchange the sheets they have worked on. Wiskemann now draws on Bänninger's painting and Bänninger paints on Wiskemann's drawing. The result is a continuous stream of pictures in which two different perceptions and perspectives come together. Bänninger/Wiskemann screw together - in a figurative sense - what should come together.
After half a working day, a new location, another factory hall, is chosen and the mobile studio is rolled there.
