There is a beautiful and monumental statue facing a very important street of Buenos Aires, Avenida del Libertador, and having its place in the midlle of a big park. This monument is dedicated to Nicolás Avellaneda, who became president of Argentina in 1874. At the back of this monument it says: «Let us spread education | until it becomes | in the republic like | air and light a gift | free and universal.»
I'm a teacher, I spend my days with kids from different ages doing art, talking, learning, laughing and teaching. I'm in front of the class, not at the back.

Es gibt eine schöne und monumentale Statue in Buenos Aires, mit Blick auf eine sehr grosse und wichtige Strasse, die Avenida del Libertador. Die Statue steht mitten in einem großen Park. Das Denkmal ist Nicolás Avellaneda gewidmet, der im Jahre 1874 Präsident von Argentinien wurde. Auf der Rückseite des Denkmals steht: «Lasst uns Bildung verbreiten | bis sie | in der Republik | wie Luft und Licht ein Geschenk ist | frei und universell.»

Ich bin Lehrerin, ich verbringe meine Tage mit Kindern unterschiedlichen Alters, mache Kunst, rede, lerne, lache und lehre. Ich stehe vor der Klasse, nicht in deren Rücken.
