PlantMatter
You can look at, touch, taste and smell your own houseplant, but not hear it? PlantMatter allows exactly that. The experimental synthesizer transforms the human touch of an indoor plant into sounds. The conscious interaction with the green roommate is intended to stimulate reflection on the relationship between man and plant in your own living space. Made of green glass, deliberately kept simple and geometric, with a formal analogy to mushrooms, PlantMatter blends into the environment of the plant without imitating it. The haptic experience of the plant texture leads to an acoustic response from the plant and creates a playful dialogue between two species.
